Ekadashi is observed on the eleventh tithi of each lunar fortnight, so it occurs roughly twice a month. It is a day of fasting (often grain-free) dedicated to Vishnu.
Because it follows the lunar calendar, no fixed date is stored here — the rule itself produces every occurrence for the year.
